Coming home from work today (Amersham on met line to Ladbroke Grove on Hammersmith & City - about an hour) I first listened to The Aggrolites debut album 'Dirty Reggae' ('cos I haven't updated my ipod for about 4 years now - long story) then the only 4 tracks I have on my ipod from The Deltones, those being "Don't fall in love" & "Show off" from Nana choc choc in Paris, "Silent River" from Skankin' 'round the world 5 and "Stay Where you are" single version. Finished off 6 minutes from home with The Divine Comedy (deffo not ska but makes me laugh) and "Something for the weekend" and the brilliant "National Express"
....mini skirts were in style, when she danced down the aisle, back in '63. But it's hard to get by, when your arse is the size, of a small country...... ;D
