Welcome to the February 2009 Rockers Revolt newsletter. Pama Intl's very own recording label. Some great things afoot early into 2009, so without further ado...on with the news...

01. PAMA INTERNATIONAL - HIGHRISE CAMPAIGN
Pama Intl-Highrise Campaign is picking up wonderful press and radio. The Sun, DJ mag and Straight No Chaser all featuring the anti-knife and anti-gun album this month, with more press coming in daily. The radio has been equally as supportive with 30+stations now playing the album. Mark Lamarr (Radio 2), Steve Lamacq (Radio 2 and BBC6), David Rodigan (Kiss100), Mike Davies (Radio 1) and a host of other quality shows have all been spinning tracks. John Kennedy (xfm) played 6 tracks in a row the other night.

02. MEMBERS FROM THE SPECIALS RECORDING WITH PAMA INTL
Never ones to stand still Pama Intl are now working on their next full length studio album titled PAMA OUTERNATIONAL. Following on from the last years hugely successful 'Pama Intl Love Filled Dub Band' album, the band describe 'Outernational' as a much "heavier sounding album...a 70s dub & soul affair for the 21st century...King Tubby meets Stax Uptown!"
Despite their hectic schedules both Lynval Golding and Sir Horace Panter from The Specials found time to guest on a number of songs. The album is being produced by Pama/Rockers Revolt head honcho Sean Flowerdew at the bands newly built 'Rockers' studio. The first single is slated for an April release with the album following in summertime 2009.

Two of Rockers Revolt artists head out on international tours this spring...
ED ROME DOWNUNDER
Ed follows up having his 'A Life In Minutes' (Rockers Revolt) album listed in the 'Best albums of 2008' by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio2 with a 3 date tour of Australia. On his return he should be the main tour support for Easy Star All-stars UK dates.

We've just found a box of this much sort after/rare Pama Intl album. Their 3rd studio album released back in 2004 and featured Lee Thompson (Madness) and Lynval Golding (The Specials) for the first time. This USA pressing is a limited editon affair. Only 330 copies, all numbered, hand stamped on heavyweight vinyl. A real collectors piece. We only have a box so grab them quickly.
