Brand new venue The Gaff, 382 Holloway Road, N7 (formerly The Old Kings Head). Nearest tube Holloway Road (Victoria Line) Wednesday 19th November aka bosher's birthday 8pm start (3am finish) 6, yes 6, ska bands for 8 quid (fiver if you manage to hold of a flyer) (5 of the bands are on the Do The Dog label)
Rebelation Buster Shuffle The Skints Dirty Revolution New Town Kings Jimmy The Squirrel
I was planning on having my birthday drink on Saturday 22nd but providing I can get the Thursday off work, I'll be along to this with bell's on (and possibly a 'buy me a drink' badge ;D)

Not sure if we can get the time off work . If we cant whats the plan for the sat? I didn't have any specific plan for the Saturday, my lot are home to Newcastle, but I'll probably end up in Camden afterwards, either Ellies Head or Dublin Castle, see who's about and take it from there, hopefully end up at Coast to Coast in Shoreditch or somewhere similar Everyone's welcome to join us (Debi & me) and I won't be expecting drinks As for the Wednesday, even if I don't get the time off, I'll probably still go, just have to watch what I drink, and leave as soon as Rebelation finish. Easier for me as it's just a bus ride home, and I realise it's more difficult when you live further out. I managed it when I went to see New Town Kings and Dirty Revolution at the 100 club the other Thursday, but it's a damn sight easier not to get drunk when you're skint! ;D

Asked for the Thursday off, boss called me a lightweight and said he'd join me at the gig!! As for 3am finish, I think that's just the bar, bands should be finished before last trains etc, not that I'm pressuring people to come (I'll leave that to promoters ;D) This one's about the bands, anyone brave enough to join me for a birthday drink can do that on the Saturday

Rebelation have announced today (Saturday 8th) that they are no longer playing on the 19th. I believe Buster Shuffle now headline.
